Very awesome song!! XD
Heard it the first time, fell in love with it the next! =P
Yeah... Where were we the last time...?
Oh yeah, in February! Hahaa!! Time flies indeed! =P
Which reminded me of one of the Mr Bean series,
"Doesn't time flies when you're enjoying yourselves."
And yeap, somehow it's true in this case lah! LoL...
Rights, more essayssssssssss coming up! =P
Moving on to Computer Sciences Year 1 Semester 2, it was really a sort of roller coaster ride for me!! T__T
It got more and more challenging as the semester progressed...
and.... as usual, we'll go through the subject first... =P
1) Discrete Structures
What can I say?? A very Maths-based subject. Easy to grasp at first, but as the sem went on, it got tougher and tougher to cope up... @__@
2) Programming Methodology and Data Structures
One of my killer subjects as I'm not good at programming at all... really an uphill ride for me all the way from the beginning of the semester until the end!
More C++ throughout the entire sem! arghhhhhhhh!!
3) Mathematical Methods for Computer Science
Lecture can follow, but assignments, tests and exams GG. Yeah, literally GG..
It's so hard to apply whatever we learnt in lectures into the assignments especially! Coding using Matlab was indeed a great challenge! Don't even understand whatever that we're coding... but then again, the lecturer was a really nice guy... =)
4) Academic English
As a student who comes from an English background, there's no problem at all getting through this course. Basically, it's like SPM English, only thing was that it involved a little more talking and practical discussions. Not even MUET standard I would say... not to think highly of myself lar, but it's really true... If you've taken MUET before, you would agree too... =P
Teacher was a nice guy, cracking jokes in class sometimes! XD
5) Chinese Level 1
A 'banana' taking Chinese! How awesome is that! Hahahaa!!
It's really a learning curve upwards here considering the words learnt kept on increasing week in week out!! Number of strokes increased, number of words increased, number of characters increased and so, amount of stress also increased. =P
Class was quite enjoyable considering I already knew the meanings of most of the words taught(about 80%, just didn't know how to write them) and the teacher treated us like uhhhh... Primary School kids??? LOL!! Eventually, I got an 'A' for this! Hahaaa... *bangga bangga*
Might be continuing level 2, depending if I find a suitable time in the near future... hehe...
6) Introduction to English Language Studies
Ahhhhhhhh! Finally, we arrived at a very interesting course! Had 2 lecturers for this...
4 parts, something like what we did for MUET, but this, deeper...
Listening and Speaking - Learning about Phonetics was quite a challenge, especially when you are asked to transcribe a certain word...
Reading and Writing - Something similar like what we did for MUET... Lecturer was a funny woman and a very friendly and helpful one too! Loved her lessons!
Ohhhh, and the funny moment during Tutorial sessions was when a random backrest of a chair will just break when one of the students leaned on it. And this happened nearly EVERY WEEK! One backrest of a chair will be broken... HAHA!!
I received this remark for misspelling
"Skimming" for "Scheming"... LOL!!
All in all, I would like to thank God for carrying me and guiding me through the ups and downs for the entire semester!!
Woohoooooo!!! Indeed, I survived because of Him!! =D
