Summary of the 1st Semester

Song listening to : Savage Garden - I Knew I Loved You (Yeah yeah, I know it's a VERY OLD song, but who cares, classics only lar best! XD)

After a looooooonnnnnnnggggggggggggg (a few months I think) period of procrastination, I finally decided to blog again..... Please bare with me for a while for I have essays to convey! LOL!!!
First things first, I would like to thank God for enabling me to go through the first semester even though there were many ups and downs!! Indeed, without God, I am N-O-T-H-I-N-G-! =D

Computer Science for me, I had seriously NO CLUE what was it all about when I first stepped in.. Conclusion, well... it wasn't easy at first, but I wouldn't dare say it was easy at all.. I struggled alot with Programming especially... See codes until my eyes @.@! But thank God, I have such nice coursemates who were willing to help me out in desperate times!! Those were really, really desperate times.....!!

See what I meant by desperate??? @.@

Now let's see... the divisions of my subjects in Sem 1...

- Principles of Programming - This was the subject I struggled the most throughout the first sem... very difficult for me as I'm not a very analytical person... and the language used here was C++

- Logic and Applications - The first part of this course was rather simple, it was plainly about language, understanding a language and the usage of a language.. Examples were arguments, deductions, some Venn diagrams, etc... I guess the lecturer played an important role to make the class focused.. He was a visiting Professor and he's Indian(as in from India)!! So, just imagine how funny it would be when he used the Indian accent for lectures!!! XD
but the challenge was the second part of this course, which was to use Prolog (Programming in Logic)... I would say, Prolog is worse as compared to C++

- Computer Organisation and Architecture - This subject is plain boring... Most of the students in this course just memorise what was being written in the text book.. This course's too abstract for me... Basically, you learn how a PC functions and what's inside your PC...

- Ethnic Relations - Another Sejarah-like and Pengajian Am-like subjects combined. Basically, you re-study whatever that was taught in Sejarah and PA, but not so in depth lar... only touches the surface.. but the hassle was the assignment and presentation...

- Bahasa Malaysia - Well, BM as normal lar... Just that the marking in university for this paper is super strict as compared to those we did before in SPM level... Though alot of people struggled with this subject(I guess it was because they hated the subject, for who-knows-what reasons), I passed with ease!! Hahaaa... *bangga bangga*

That was a brief summary about my courses...... Now, events!
